The biggest Glitch I've ever seen was in Star Ocean: Till the End of Time. It's called the Bunny Races. Lamest Mini-Game ever in video game history. It's game breaking too, it's the reason I never beat the game. (I would be hard pressed trying to explain this without Star Ocean: Till the End of Time Spoilers. Spoiling in Non-Spoiler zones is NOT cool.)

There are two notable ones. The first was the first glitch I ever encountered (at least that I recall). It was in Uniracers, and for some reason, the two highest difficulty levels randomly opened up one day (in that game you unlock new difficulties as you beat the ones below them). I think I might have accidentally done something to the carrtridge, but I forget.

The most recent one was in Assassin's Creed 2. This was shortly before I got an RROD, so the two might be related, but I was just walking along the rooftops, picking off archers like I like to do, when one of them multiplied into two, and then the clone multiplied, and soome I had about 100 archers occupying a relatively small chunk of roof space, forcing eachother off the edge as there was no more room for them to stand. Eventually the game becamw very laggy and ultimately crashed, but that was a fun one while it lasted.

[Minor Spoilers]

In KotOR 2, on Dantooine, you are approached by some mercenaries who want your help. I saved the game, then started a second conversation and talked them into attacking me. But after giving the order to attack I changed my mind and reloaded.

To my surprise my jedi jumped forward anyway, performing the assigned attack and completely diced one of the thugs.

The others watched him go down - and did nothing.

My most recent was a glitch in DA:O that i found today. I loaded a previous save after dieing only to find that the game was paused so i was unable to move or cast anything, however i could open the radial menu. When the menu was open it unpaused the game and combat resumed but once again I couldn't move or cast anything as it selected things on the menu. Simpily reloaded the game and it worked fine.

The only other glitch I remember is falling through the floor in World of Warcraft, very irritating.

This isn't my personal one, but you can complete the main questline of Oblivion in 15 mins via glitching. It involves a lot of hovering on items you hold beneath your feet and eventually making onto the roof of the temple in the Imperial City. Drove me mad when I saw it >.<

My best graphical glitch was in Fallout 3. In the German Town Police Station, there was a skeleton that constantly had seizures, moving up and down, flailing. I shot it at first because I had the music off. While it not always the same one, I've had it happen twice, one through a wall with it's head and arm getting stuck. :\\

My most annoying, actually, was in the first Assassin's Creed. I had to kill the guy... what was his name... I don't know, he was having books burned. Each time I tried to kill him, he would die like any other normal guy, and then I got a message saying the target had gotten away. While he was at my feet. I had to redo it 6 or 7 times before it stopped.

God I hate that. That happens way too often for me and I ALWAYS have to reload thus causing me to lose saved data.

There is a great compilation here:

Judging from this video, it seems like AC2 might be the king of glitches. There are some great ones here.

The worst recent one I had was with Fallout 3. This glitch only happens with The Pitt and Broekn Steel and Point Lookout. There is a part in the Pitt where you can find steel ignots, 100 in all to get some nice gear and an achievement on the 360. Normally you walk on facotry rooftops to get to a bridge and ladder to collect like 20 of them. After you install the future expansions, it glitches this section, so when you walk on the narrow path to get to the ignots, you clip right through the floor to your death. There is no way around to get the ignots, so basically th achievement is unachieveable for me unless I un-install the other expansions, start a new game, get to the pitt, and do it. Of course, in a 50 plus hour save file, that's simply not going to happen.

a real messed up glitch happened while i was playing the epic masterpiece that is xenogears. i was in the prison city. i did the gear fight in the battle arena, it broke down like it was supposed to, and i had to go talk to the blanka look-a-like to get the story moving. i spoke to him, he didn't do anything but ramble on and on about stupid crap. i ran around the camp and spoke with every single damn npc at least 100 times, ran around in the sewers, grinded so much that i could one shot anything down there with a regular attack, and the story was basically stuck due to some messed up glitch. i tried reloading other saved files and they were corrupted. i never made it through the prison city. {=o( i was really enjoying that game, too.

KoToR 2 was the god of glitches and bugs. The worst one was the bug on Nar Shadaa. If you didn't walk into a specific area and get a cutscene before completing a certain quest (which was easy to do without going that way) the main plot never moved forward and you were stuck, complete game ender. It was awful.

Back in the days of Ghost Recon for PS2 I once had a massive glitch. I went to walk up a hill but instead of walking up it I went straight through it...then when I got to the other side where I would be goin down I just went straight out, thus me flying in the air. The option to move up and down was suddenly gone. It was fun shooting people hovering 10 ft in the air though...so yeah, that was pretty crazy for me.

I also had a recent ME2 glitch. I was on one of the uncharted worlds and a bunch of Mechs activated and attacked me. Then when I'd kill one their feet would dissapear in the ground, their legs would get really skinny and then they'd flop around from side to side in the wind, rather violently at that. On the same planet Garrus died for me and his body layed suspiciously 3 ft off the ground. Anyone else experience this ???

I've been thinking about which glitch to post for a few hours now. I've seen so many it was hard to choose.

The silliest has to go to one I saw with Neverwinter Nights days after Hordes of the Underdark was released. I was trying out an epic level monk build and threw on casual robes to get that peasant wanderer look. Well, when she began fighting her attacks were so fast that her hands and feet detached from her body as they struck enemies. She looked like a character out of Rayman with floating hands and feet, and no limbs. Apparently very high initiative and multiple attacks broke her animations.

Pool of Radiance.

Played for awhile, saved the game, did something else for awhile.

Re-loaded the save and it spawned me inside a closed door and could not do anything.

Pool of Radiance was then un-installed once and for all.

On Star Wars the Phantom Menace for the PS1. I was continually dying in Theed. The 12 try I come back, all of my weapons had infinite ammo, I was invincible, and I had several glitched weapons that when fired made distorted noises.

Jup AC2 is the ultimate king of glitchyness. I'm still puzzled at how things like the skywalking or the guard multiplyer are even possible code-wise ... I mean they're so improbable, almost like they were done on purpose.

Worst one I ever saw was an old old game for the Intelevision console, one of the first consoles ever made. This was a hockey game and one of my players was in the penalty box, the puck skipped over the boards and into the penalty box and out came my player, still in the sitting postion, and I stickhandled down the ice like that and scored a goal...lol
