One way that stuff like this happens is, when Devs are building & testing the game during the development stage, they sometimes build temporary aids, like invisible bridges, invincibility codes, & such to aid in game/bug testing. After the game is done, it's not uncommon for them to completely forget to remove these temporary aids before finalizing the Code & Burning the game to disks for selling & distribution. Jup AC2 is the ultimate king of glitchyness. I'm still puzzled at how things like the skywalking or the guard multiplyer are even possible code-wise ... I mean they're so improbable, almost like they were done on purpose.
