One thing I will say about Morinth, is that she has a hardcore persecution complex. Admittedly, Samara probably wasn't the best mother, but Morinth seems to use her childhood and treatment by society to justify her actions. That's part of what I like about the character, though. She's a terrible person, but an interesting character to watch, much more interesting than Samara.

I just wish there was the option to tell her 'You say you're a killer, but you just put your life on the line for everyone in the galaxy. It's not impossible for you to turn over a new leaf.' after the Collector Base mission. Both Samara and Morinth could have used some really good character development in ME2, and it'll be such a waste if they don't make it into ME3 to develop more. I'm hoping that there's some sort of happy ending for Morinth, in any case, like maybe AY can get it on with each other without dying.

Who doesn't like Morinth? Mind raping people to death for 400 years just for the laughs.

I don't want her to become "good". I would like to see her try to do good things but with a very twisted way of doing it... to further put out the idea that she is a sociopath.

I wouldn't necessarily want her to become 'good,' either, just become more aware of why it is she does the things she does.  Justifying everything to herself because she had a bad childhood is letting her own need to feel morally justified control her.

Ah, yes.My favorite bipedal shark ;) Delightfully creepy character with a personality that can only be understood in context with Samara.Morinth was the dark reflection of Samara.Life, sex, chaos, self. Those were what drove her and what Samara had exiled from herself. Both of them ended up as unrepentant killers.Perfect ying/yang dualism.

What i loved about Morinth how she potrayed being one step above everyone else in the foodchain.I didn't apologize or feel bad about the cow whose flesh i ate today and neither would Morinth feel bad about the the artist girl or anyone else she killed and absorbed. And like Morinth, i COULD live without it, but i won't.There is no room for morality in the foodchain.

So, it turns out that Morinth has even less fans than Jacob. I'm sorry.

As I was drinking my coffe this morning trying to come up with something to ask people... it hit me. I should ask them about whether their favorite character drank tea or coffee in the morning. So what does Morinth drink in the morning... coffee or tea? How does she take it and why?

Morinth Doesn't get much love on these forums does she? :(
Anyways Bioware should keep her as a option to recruit in Mass Effect 3 and hopefully a romance option for Shep I know that might be hard but Shep could build up some resistance when they are together it's a long shot I know but it could work

Hey, at least she's more interesting.

Had I let her live, I would have brought her to meet Jacob's dad. Fitting punishment for that a-hole. She has a thing for men that abuse power after all.

Uhhh wasn't the 'Critical Mission Failure' enough for you?  It isn't physically possible for an Ardat-Yakshi to not kill their mates.

I'm inclined to believe the critical mission failure doesn't imply an impossibility as much as it applies something wrong happened.  The first time that happened I tried going back to see what mistakes I made that allowed my Shepard to die during that scene.  I completely forgot about Bioware saying there's no other romance besides the six available.  Then again, they allowed us to get closer to Kelly for her demeaning sequence.  I figured there may be a secret somewhere.

Hey, didn't know where else to take this, or if it had been covered/asked yet. If you take morinth along on the suicide mission as the biotic, does something go wrong, like with an unloyal samara, or jack without implants/loyalty?

Just wondering if anyone knows. :)

Morinth is always loyal (from the moment you get her). You can't lose her loyalty.

Uploaded a new video today, thought you guys might like it: Asari Shepard and the Ardat-Yakshi

It's an all Asari vid, no other species involved [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/whistling.png[/smilie] I tried to make my Shep look like an Asari (more or less - she definitely looks alien [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/tongue.png[/smilie])

Beware though, the vid shows the dark side of the Asari culture. Violence, deception and betrayal are common. Guess there's more to the Asari than what meets the eye, looks can be deciving...

Anyway, enjoy [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/smile.png[/smilie]

Shep should have looked for advice from Mordin before he tried to get close to Morinth.

I must say I liked Morinth's character, however she really needed some more development.

She had only about 2 unique dialogue sections.

Wow, you people like Morinth? She is even more of a lunatic and psychopath than Jack (who btw appears completely normal should you romance her).

My response to Morinth's character was always, "I wish my morals allowed me to let you live."
