I don't like Jack either. But at least she can control her blood lust, to some extent. Plus she is a more sympathetic character. She was pretty much forced into becoming what she is. Morinth, on the other hand, was offered an alternative. But she chose to ignore it and instead persued a life of sex (if you can call it that) and murder.

Jack doesn't actively go out and kill people for kicks.

Morinth isnt doing it for kicks either. Shes addicted to the pleasure she gets from her condition. Jack does it for kicks.
Have you talked to the woman? She finds the most retarded reasons for killing people so she wont seem like a murderer but she really is.

She's just an interesting character, her and Samara fill the same role. It all comes down to who you sympathize with, the one who has to hunt down and kill her daughter, or the one who is being hunted because of something she had no control over. It's pretty retarded she still tries to get with you, but she has to live a life of intermittent pleasure and constant loneliness.

If you were paying attention, the kids attacked her because the hated her since  all the lethal experiments were being done on them so that they wouldn't accidentally kill her.  I don't like Jack, but she's definately not as bad as Morinith.

Morinith on the otherhand is careful and deliberate about who she kills.  She understands with perfect clarity what she is and what she is doing.


Both are killers, but if I had to hope that one could reform and join the crew in a productive manner, it would be Morinth.

She's the last character to care about what people think of her actions. You really think Bioware is trying to trick you into beliving her side of the story, and that you're the only one who saw through their clever ruse?

The kids were trying to escape, the guards tried to move them all at once and they had an uprising as the children rose up against the guards.



And then "JACK GOT LOOSE", the kids weren't after Jack they were trying to escape and probably would have done so if Jack hadn't broken free and killed them all.

That doesn't make any sense. The fact that she knows what she's doing and isn't deluded means that there's no chance to "reform" her because she has no problem with what she's doing.

I was gonna write a lengthy summary reiterating this, but I hit enter.

She is given the choice between prison and death.    Of love, or of morality.     She is no pyscopath.    She is also no hero either, she chose what she became.    But can one truly fault her?

You guys do realize that saying Jack is a despicable character does not make Morinth any better?



The game constantly points out just how vile Morinth is. There is nothing likable about her. Even I thought she had sex appeal I wouldn't consider that to be a good quality, as she tries to kill you with it.



And while she is addicted to killing, that doesn't make her sympathetic. Keep in mind that her 2 sisters are living comfortable lives in isolation. Ardat Yakshi do not start out addicted. They have to kill some one first. Morinth willingly chose to become what she is.
