Morinth is what she is. You either like her or you don't. I happen to like her. Just don't start trying to change her or empathize with her. IMO, she's trying to get you to feel sorry for her so you'll let down your guard... and become a statistic.

Empathizing with her doesn't necessarily mean letting your guard down. I can feel compassion for her situation without being blinded by it. I definitely agree about trying to change her - ain't never gonna happen - but do I think she suffers genuine loneliness? Absolutely. If not, why wouldn't she just kill the unarmored and weaponless Shepard after she kills her mother? Offering to join Shepard's quest is an extremely risky gamble for Morinth. I cannot imagine a woman who's spent 400 years keeping herself alive against all odds throwing in with Shepard simply for the chance of a momentary thrill. I'll accept an argument that maybe she's just bored with her current lifestyle and wants a change, but I'm more inclined to believe she truly does crave companionship that she could not have while her mother was hunting her.

And I can think these things without feeling even the slightest inclination to accept her post-game offer.

Morinth has a slightly darker complexion, less broad jaws, a wider grin.

I'm on my second playthrough (Paragon first time, Renegade this time), and Morinth seemed like a good choice this go-around. I'm really enjoying our conversations so far. A little sexy, but definitely not nice. I think the thing that gave me the shivers initially was that her intentions were to impersonate her mother. I mean, I guess it makes sense -- how would you explain this turn of events to your crew? But, still. The girl is hawt, but cold.



I hope keeping Morinth around is a hook into ME3.

What was there to adore about Morinth? She was a calculating shrew who'd use whatever means she could to get you alone and then fry your nervous system to a slag and kill you in the process! Hardly an endearing trait or (by some twisted standards) a romantic one. She's better off dead and so is the rest of the galaxy.

Okay, I went to YouTube and stand corrected on you *having* to die. But the original though still stands, why would you want to keep Morinth around?

If she must become Samara's clone, I wish Morinth could have at least kept her commando outfit for field use once she joins. If anybody found changing clothes to be suspicious for some reason, it could be easily explained away as "Samara felt like putting on something less ridiculous."
