Hello, i have a very strange problem occurring in dragon age. The game sometimes slows down and then starts running normaly again, then slows down, etc... This is happening in all the places, being in denerim market place, or in a room, or in forest, or fighting enemies, or just standing idle, in a place with special effects like spells or fire, or without them. If the game just slowed down i would understand that my pc was lacking power to run it smoothly, but the thing is that in any given situation the game slows down and then runs smooth, then slows down, etc. I have tried "playing" with video settings but it doesnt do a difference :S
My disc is ok, my ram is 3GB, my graphic card is 9600GT mobile 512MB... it should at least run smoothly in the lowest options possible, but the thing is that it does that thing, for example in denerim market, im there running, and for 3 mins it is slow, then it becomes smooth for some time, then slows down, etc!!
I really dont know what to do...
Problem ruining the game :S\\

PC Games are designed to run properly on desktop machines, not laptops. The cooling capacity of almost all laptops is exceeded by the work that games put PCs through. When hot, the laptop slows itself down drastically, gets cooled, and the you have the cycle repeating. At the very least, use a high-volume cooling pad device with a puny littkle laptop to give it a chance.

Laptops simply don't make suitable game platforms. Heat is a major problem, and will eventually literally kill it while still in warranty if you persists in trying to use it for games without protection. No game company offers technical support to laptops (well, none that I am familiar with, who produce high intensity 3D video).
