Choices, and how far across the galaxy they will never reach.

Hello,

In Mass Effect 2, the choices from the original Mass Effect aren't evident as we had been told they were going to be.

For example: Kaidan/Ashley on Horizon just felt like the other could be somewhere else in the game. It did not feel like one of the characters was dead, just not present.

It's likely that the choices from the original game would most likely feature on the planets you made them.

I would love, and I stress, LOVE to return to the places from Mass Effect 1. Noveria, Feros, The Wards, the Presidium...

You're not going to feel the absence/continued corruption of Anoleis on Illium. You're not going to see the good/evil you've endowed upon Zhu's Hope on Illium. You're not going to see the effects of saving/sacraficing the council solely in the Humand Embassy or a Turian Shop.

Wouldn't it be fantastic to see how these places had changed thanks to you, in your 2 year absence?

Zhu's Hope could be a thriving colony, or an eerie wasteland.

Port Hanshan could be a few companies richer, or dominated by one enterprise.

The Wards could be a pristine Market Place, or filled with organised crime and gangs.

The Council Chambers could be inhabited purely by human politicians, or show a union of species.

I don't know if it's just me, but seeing these would really make me feel like my choices mattered, and had made a difference.
