Soldier, Inferno and disruptor or inferno and cryo?

The only time I have find the Cryo ammo helpful is when facing swarms of high health/low protection foes like husks, vorcha, and collectors when grouped with SMG happy squadmates.

Meh, by the time you get down to health, all the hard work's been done already. I'd rather just kill Krogen and Vorcha dead than stop their regen. Tungsten Ammo >> Incindiary ammo in my opinion. Even on Insanity.kennyme2 wrote...

If you're really worried about regen, bring Jacob (early game), Grunt (mid to late game) or Jack along.

I would take the Cryo over the AP since you are also taking Incendiary. There is a difference between AP and Incendiary, but they are sort of redundant in that they both are geared toward armor and health. With Squad Cryo and Inferno Rounds, you'll be mopping up enemies while your Squadmates are passively CC'ing them with the Cryo.
Give it a shot, I'm sure you'll be surprised.

I only have rank 2 conc shot right now, so maybe if I morph it to a stronger single target it will make a difference, but right now it barely takes off 1/5 of a barrier. Seems like just using AR and doing headhots does more since it doesn't seem like you can aim conc shot, unless I'm just doing it wrong.

That is true, though I would still put at least one point in incendiary ammo, just for stopping regen.
I've actually been debating myself whether or not disruptor ammo is even worth using (heavy disruptor) on insanity on my infiltrator. Seems like cryo ammo might be more useful since its damn near suicide to stay exposed while shooting. I figure with squad cryo I would at least have some opportunities to put some fire down range with a few enemies frozen.
