I've been curious about the damage of melee attacks and since bioware is giving a lot of helpful hints recently I thought I'd ask.
I'm also curious about the headshot multiplier. I'm assuming its x2, but I could be wrong. Probably pushing my luck at this point, but I would also like to know the exact armor damage bonus of the new Eviscerate shotgun.
How much damage do melee attacks inflict? (dev response please)

We could probably figure it out ourselves roughly.
We could take an enemy and find out how many times it takes X skill to kill them, and then we could see how many times it takes for a melee to kill that same enemy. That would give us a rough estimate.

With the melee upgrade and the melee shoulder pads equipped, my Soldier can melee about 50-75% shields off of a common enemy.

I want something more exact than educated guesses though.

Thanks, I knew it was significant. Does it have a straight 1x multiplier against the four HP bars?Eric ****nan wrote...

Do all classes have the same melee damage abilities? I'd assume Soldiers, and possibly Vanguards and Infiltrators would have higher melee ability than the other classes. But my nerdy little Sentinel has been able to punch a few enemies to death when the situation calls for it.

He said they all do 125 damage. There's no reason to believe that it would change by class based on that statement.
