Ash. Opening a dialogue with her in ME2 made me quirk a brow a few times and had me wondering if she was even remotely loco.

Jack: Uh, I don't want psychotics running around with weapons. Arrgh, I should just side with Miranda next time I play through.
Close second: Thane. I just don't care for his, "I was only a tool" stuff. I blame a being told about this thing called 'responsibility' as a kid.

I disliked Jacob a bit, since my FemShep just acted like she wanted in his pants with her tone of voice. He also seems very flat in character development.
Will so -not- drop drinks on the Citadel with him.
As for any other creature/character I hated? Scions. Hate. So. Much.

Tali.
I just find her boring and annoying. I don't think I've ever used her once during a mission (besides her loyalty), not even against the Geth. When ever I'm up against the Geth I just use Zaeed's Squad Distruptor Ammo and Garrus's Area Overload, then give them both the Incisor.

That asari on the Citadel who wasn't allowed to leave. Even when you help her, she still acts obnoxious.

Scions are EVIL!
And so are husks. Who in their right mind would give those things ARMOUR?!

My least favorite is Miranda... Im just tired of her non-personality and that her character is built on being sexy (trying to at least). Thats not interesting. Its just annoying. But worst is, SHES MY SECOND IN COMAND! Jeesh couldnt I just fire her and take in Garrus instead??
But I also really admire Bioware for creating a character that actually pisses me off. Im usually a very tolerant person
(oh and Jack too... why should I care about a whining **** who dont even give a **** about us anyway?
)

Miranda. Hate Cerberus and found hr whole back story to be rather dull and annoying. Wait...so you're annoyed that you're perfect? Huh?
Wasn't too fond of Grunt for lots of the game but he warmed on me. He just felt like a hyperactive, sub-standard replacement for Wrex.

Major characters? Ashley. Far too xenophobic and mouthy. If people like her became ambassadors there is no doubt the Counsil would remove our embassy like they did the Batarians'.
Minor characters? Tough call. Anoleis was pretty bad. Though I have a particular distaste for the racist rantings of Charles Saeacino (Leader of Terra Firma) as well as Uvenk who was particularly racist towards humans, moreso than even the most vengeful Turian.

The one squad member I could do without is Grunt.
Least favorite minor character is Ronald Taylor. He is such a terrible human being.

Grunt is good, but no replacement for Wrex, Grunt actually has a LOT of character developement if you talk to him often. Which is surprising. Wrex still would kick his ass though.
As for Legion, remember, you are the first person the Geth has even really talked to so from Tali's perspective, yes, genocide is the right choice though you can temper that later on.
For me, most hated characters... Udina is tied with the Turian Councilor for npc's.
For squad mates that EASILY goes to Miranda and Jacob. Both of those characters were flat out... boring (And sorry Jacob, but my Femshep wanted nothing to do with you and my manshep wanted nothing to do with Miranda). I never use them once I get to Omega. It's pick up Zaeed and Kasumi and then off to recruit Garrus and Mordin.
Most favorite is tough, I actually -like- almost all the companion chars in ME2. I was shocked by Liara until the DLC came out which renewed my faith in her completely. Before LotSB Tali had become my new favorite as I thought her character development was strong.
I'd say Tali, Kasumi, Liara, and Samara are my favorites followed by Garrus, Mordin, and Thane, with Jack, Grunt, and Zaeed being aboe Jacob and Miranda.
Favorite Non-squaddie is without a doubt Joker + Edi interactions.

After Miranda, for reasons most people have pretty much said already, Samara for me.
She, for one, is kind of a drag. I get poisoned on Omega, all she says is "I hope it was worth it." ... what the hell??? I go to Tuchanka, Samara decides she's going to undertake a mission to get krogan to stop doing varren fights. I have to go back and get a different squad member so I can win some creds betting on Urz, smh.
And the justicar code is so dumb. It is really dumb, for real. She tried to kill Nihlus, a Spectre, because she saw him kill an unarmed civilian?? Spectres, for one, can legally do that if they see fit. For two, she has no business getting into that. He may have had good reasons to do that, that she doesn't know about. But she follows her code practically blindly and tries to put him down. And I'm a Paragon type. But you can't make those decision all the way - it's just plain stupid.
Don't blame her for how she handles her daughter. But I did find her daughter to be a little more worthwhile when my renegade femshep recruited her.

That's the point, they are very similar to Spectres with the difference being that while Spectres' choices are guided by mission completion, Justicars' choices are guided by morality.

Tali.
ME1 Tali: "I have sensitive information, I should deal with the Shadow Broker instead of seeking protection from the Council. Oh, that didn't work? Saaaave meeeee Shepurt! Thanks. Now let me tell you ALL about the geth and boring quarian stuff."
ME2 Tali: "I'm the boss Prazza! I said I'm the boss, PRAZZA! Wait, you're dead? Saaaaave meeee Shepurt!"
****time passes****
"Shepurt, what are you doink on Haestrom? My squad are all dead, can you saaaaave meeee again, Shepurt? Thanks, and keelah' salad"
****time passes****
"Shepurt, I'm being accused of treason! Can you drop me off on the Rayya? Kthnxbai. Oh wait, you're my lawyer Shepurt, so can you pleeeease lie about my father's war crimes for me? You'd really be saaaaaving meeee a lot of trouble. I'd rather live as an exile than tarnish the memory of my douchebag neglectoid war criminal father. Oh, and did I mention I want to jump your bones even though it'll make me really really sick? You're soooo dreamy Shepurt, I have Mrs. Tali Shepurt written all over my omni-tool."

Garrus. I'm surprised he doesn't whine about his calibrations like he whined about C-Sec or his Omega team. Wahh red tape wahh betrayal. Just shut up and shoot things when I pick you for my squad.
