The trouble with Zaeed is that he's DLC. They had to design the game to be whole without him. You can't interact with him the same way you do with the other characters. You almost forget he's there.

Grunt never really interested me, neither before nor after his loyalty mission. Barely used him in other missions. Jacob also seemed kinda bland to me, but his loyalty mission was nice.

miranda gets my vote for the worst personality. if game would let you I would shoot her in the face

I hated Tali in ME1 and I hate her in ME2 still. Although I did like her loyalty mission. I did like Jack at first but if your a female character and you try to have a conversation with her again after a few she is rude. After that I didn't like her anymore and I only speak to her for a Normandy Upgrade and after her stupid Loyalty Mission. 

I hated Miranda when I first played ME2 but she grew on me throughout the game.

I don't mind Jacob hes alright but I hate the way when you speak to him you flirt with him all the time.

Ashley in ME1 just annoyed the bloody hell out of me with all of her stupid random comments during missions. I am glad I left her to die.

As for Udina well he is a son of a ******

Hahahahahaha at least we all know that nobody disliked thane. Or legion. Looks like Bioware should have stuck with the old technique and maybe people would be liked more. By old technique i mean having someone so low on the charts that everyone is so busy thinking they are a douche they dont mind the others. And henceforth Kaiden was born into ME1.

Grunt, hands down for me was the worst. Yes he was the ultimate Krogan (I am Krogan) but who can argue with the man who introduced us to the Krogan, Wrex.
