I have the Large Flawless Fire Crystal, for ARMOR for Shale, but I need a Large Flawless ICE one now so I can safely fight Flemmeth(Shale can single handedly take her down, given the right stuff).

i ve seen some late in game about when i complete all the allies quest , dont know if you can get them earlyer i was kinda broke for a long time and was nt using shale so i dont remember if i could get them earlyer or where exactly

In fact there is better than flawless in the game. Go to the common quatter in Orzammar and the shop keeper just by the deep roads enterance sells them. a tad on the expensive side but he has one of each type

What vendors sell scale according to your own level. The higher level you are, the stronger the gear they sell.

Yes. There is flawless for every type of crystal. Your level is probably too low right now.

Brilliant is the highest level, but I only found one in the game, and that was at the very end.
