Well first of all my Mass Effect 2 Disc 1 was scratched in when someone knocked over my Xbox 360, making it unusable. Out of desperation I inserted Disc 2 hoping that I could use the old "Final Fantasy Method" to get past the menu and load the game on disc one of which I doubted would work. To my suprise it let me continue playing on disc 2 though I haven't finished disc 1. Will I need Disc 1 to complete the game though it is broken? I would like to know since I am still able to progress without it though I do not know of what extent.
Disc One of Mass Effect 2 was scratched but I am able to play with Disc Two

you gonna need the disk 1 again. cant you change the game for another copy? say it was already damaged when you bought it idk.

Did you install the game from both discs to your harddrive? In that case you may be okay.
