i agree with the op idea. i would love a respec option for squadmates as i cant be bothered to do a new game + and have to redo research and collect resources again just to respec them.
Any chance of getting an option to respec squadmates?

I'm definitely on board for this. I'm playing on insanity right now and I definitely wish I had some of those squad points back. It seems like it shouldn't be too difficult to program in an option for it at the Normandy's research terminal. Since I play on the 360 I depend on Bioware to release fixes like this and at this point its my single biggest need as far as DLC goes. Seriously, I have like two or three squad members who I powered up based on my experience playing on veteran and a lot of the abilities which kicked ass on veteran are almost worthless on insanity.
