So has anyone else encountered this?

I am currently aboard purgatory, i go downstairs, there is a dead robot to scan(which after a little looking, should be an armor upgrade) yet nothing happens when i scan the damn robot, just a quick reticle color change(can repeat this again and again) but nothing gained.  I tried reloading, restarting mission, and rebooting game(X360) and nothing seems to fix it, what gives?

yes a glitch, i have encountered these the best way out is to restart mission, exit the game, and if those still fail exit the game and load the mission restart, this has always fixed my bugs like that.
