As they acted as one of the most convienent elements to the story, will they be returning? Sandal is the only place to get enchantments in the game after all, and i think the ending to the game gives us a clear reason of the consequences of angering Sandal.

We dont know, Bodahn doesnt seem to be the "adventurous" type, why Sandal was there is a mystery. Sandal is the only one that knows and should these two return i'd love to see this humourously touched on......Enchantment.....

...Anyways, Bodhan and Sandal spent so much time following one group all over Ferelden, I'm sure they wouldn't mind a short jaunt into Armnathine (sp?)

Sandal is too OP to return because then you could just tell him that (insert bad guy here) hates enchantments and then its basically game over Sandal wins.

I would imagine that, at the very least, you'd gain eventual access to some alternate means of enchanting your items, even if Sandal himself doesn't make a comeback. However, I plan on enchanting the items I already have the best that I can before importing to the expansion, just to be on the safe side.

True, if sandal isnt implemented then it's likely going to be a random tranquil. Then again Bodahn and sandal may just be staying at your camp again. Either way, I'd rather get my enchantments from sandal then from an emotionless (ex) mage.

Sandal damn well better be there, or I'm going to drop the entire BioWare staff off a very tall cliff. Of course, there'd be a trampoline at the base, but I wouldn't tell them.

As Sandal seems to be possibly the best loved NPC in the game, I think it would be a BIG mistake not to include him. The uproar would dwarf (no pun intended) any we've seen yet.

I hope what have Badahn and Sandal back as well, we better have them back. It wouldn't make any sense to have another special merchant anyways.

He was merely observing your progress, and if you didn't kill the Archdemon, he was going to do it for you.

Sandal is the reason why your able to reload from last save instead of ending the game at death. He's also the reason why you dont get killed in battle, instead you just get a minor injury.

According to the FAQ, Loghain, Wynne, Anora and Alistair are making possible cameo's and Herren and Wade are returning. No mention of Sandal so I guess he's not coming back : (

I don't think only those character would make cameos. It would be ridiculous to see only those. Think the bright side : Wade's craft and Sandal's enchantment = unbelievably strong items. At least, that's my hope. Still, Wade is also a good appearance. But no Enchantment, no party
