man i can't really remember what my first rpg was lol I believe though it might have been Zelda, but im not too sure..lol

Mine was most probably Baldur's Gate 2 or Planescape Torment. I do remember playing Diablo around that time, although I never got to finish it.  It's all been RPGs since then, mainly from Bioware and the occasional Bethesda.

It was Mandragore, long long time ago (more than 20 years...), with a C64.Can't remeber anything sorry.
With a P&P version, it was D&D, first edition...

Probably Final Fantasy 7 when it came out in '97. Or Pokemon, if that counts as an RPG! I was a bit of a late bloomer to the RPG scene. I blame not having a NES/SNES as a kid, and a father that hogged the one computer of the house for gaming purposes



By the time NWN came out I had my own computer. Lots of PC RPGs have come and gone but I've been playing NWN on and off since 2003 or so.

Bard's Tale!

That was my first CRPG with graphics. Four colours BLEW MY MIND!

Ditto, the C64 version. To my shame I do remember exploiting the poor thing to dupe items. It was the designers fault for giving the sample bard character an excellent AOE Horn of Fire.

Heh. Secret of the Silver Blades was my first CRPG. Although most consider it the weakest among the series, I love it the most. I remember playing it over and over again. Fore some reason, I never got into the Bard's Tale series.

Hmm, didn't get a CRPG until I had my C-64. It's a toss-up between Bard's Tale and Ultima 3.

Oh man, I loved Bard's Tale. The remake was so disappointing. I never bought it just because from the previews it didn't look like it maintained the spirit of the original.
