sort of a flop. Granted, it was a very good DLC for being $5, as it costs as
much as a skipped meal at Taco Bell.
But I can't help but feel disappointed.
The problem with Return to Ostagar was that it needed more. In other words, what was in it was good. It had a good beginning and a good ending. But the middle did not settle well. I’m sure there are a lot of people that are thinking of ways that would have made Return to Ostagar better.
Here’s what I propose.
Why don't we as a community make a modified and improved version of Return To
Ostagar? In other words, as a group we all fill in the gaps to make things
better and make it the way it should have been.
Honestly, we don't need to take anything out of Return to Ostagar. We just need to ADD to it.
So maybe we can add some more characters, more equipment, a more involving
plot, more detailed quests, more dialogue choices, a rich story, more voice talent, more character
designs, etc. Maybe have some survivors and some ensuing plot with that, etc.
Just think?
What if we got the team that made "Alley of
Secret Murders" , "Fragments of Ferelden", "Kal Sharok" and some folks willing to do voices and give their ideas
on ways to improve Return to Ostagar....and do it.
I'd be willing
to help too. I can't do programming or anything like that, but I would be willing
to do all of the character designs and make each face fit the character and personality.
How feasible would this be?
After all, if there are already mods for Dragon Age, it should be feasible to mod Return To Ostagar, no?
