Hi all,
I hope this is the right place for my questions

but I’ve done some searching and I can’t seem to come up with anything like a solution to my problem so I thought I’d pester you all!

I am trying to make my own custom hairstyle to replace one of the female elf styles provided by the game. Working in Blender I have managed to model and bone weight a mesh that looks satisfactory but I’m not quite sure where to go from there....When I export the mesh as a .msh file (using the awesome NewbyPower’s script) and try to replace the original with it by putting the new .msh into my override folder with the same name as the original mesh I am replacing it seems like there is nothing there in game (i.e the whole hairstyle is missing and the back of the character’s head is invisible

).
By experimenting with the DATool (thanks to Adinos for that!) and extracting all of the files for an in-game hairstyle I have noticed there are many more files than I thought (.mmh, .pys, ect) which might also need to be replaced. What do I need to do to replace these when all I have is my weighted mesh file? If there are any tutorials that I’ve somehow missed they would be greatly appreciated.

Also, can anyone tell me what I can do to get my hairstyle into the game in the same way that downloading More Hairstyles gets their hairs into the game? Something to do with the chargen file perhaps? (P.S Sorry if these are really n00b questions or if there is an obvious answer I’ve missed

)
