Oddly enough that x86 update fixed the launcher issue for my XP system also. Who knew? I was sure it wouldn't work, but I didn't see how it could really hurt my system. So at least it worked, now if only my Golem dlc would finish so I can start my warden keep dlc...download is slow as crap.

far out, I just got stung too!!! Installed the patch, now cannot launch the game... Clicking Play doesn't do anything, music page on autoloader just keeps on playing...
I was just browsing through the new site, and redeeming my codes, and saw the Game Patches link. And "oh look, 1.01 is available, well I'll download it then... " gotcha!
Pretty poor effort Bioware!!! This thread is over 10 days old, with a bunch of people who've obviously had major issues with the patch. Why didn't you pull it or suspend it... Not happy, not happy at all....
I guess now I'll have to follow these other poor souls in reinstalling the game, and redownloading all the dlc stuff again... Just because the game is finally out doesn't mean you can just rest on your laurels.
