Hi there,

I can't seem to find a search feature for this forum despite the first topic saying there is an awesome one?!  Can anyone point that out to me?

OK, well I've looked and looked both here and in EA for a patch for this but so far, nothing.

Twice now I have been merrily running along OUT OF COMBAT and I've hitched up onto and gotten stuck on an object.  The latest lol-worthy error is that I'm currently stuck on a non named NPC's head on the CIC level of the SR2!

I literally bumped into her and before I knew it had hopped up onto her head with no possible way of getting down.  I've wiggled, walked, saved, reloaded and bashed the keyboard a fair amount all to no avail.

I'm using the PC version of the game with the Dragon Armour and Cerebrus Armour patch installed successfully.

Help me Obi Wan Kenobi, you're our only hope...

Ps - I only have one save so if I cannot get down I will loose all game progress (about 30 hours). :crying:

Same thing happens to me... Seems to be when you get too close to an edge with a different Z axis, it lifts your character and you cannot get down.

You can try the following instructions, if you're comfortable mucking about with your .ini files. (Make backups if you do this!)

Instructions courtesy of Iron Spine:

It's a common issue we're all dealing with until they fix it among the many other glitches and issues.

As a work around for in-game you ca do the following:in the Coalesced.ini file and then rebuild the file.

[SFXGame.SFXGameModeDefault]
Bindings=( Name="Add", Command="Ghost" )
Bindings=( Name="Subtract", Command="Walk" )

With these bindings correctly entered in the right place, which is in the [SFXGame.SFXGameModeDefault] section of the embedded file ../BIOGame/Config/PC/Cooked/BIOInput.ini file (slashes reversed as the forum will append to infinity on copies) you can then do the following:

When in the game, if you press the + key (Add) on the numpad you will go into ghost (noclip) mode and can strafe your way horizontally through objects to get yourself un-stuck. Once out of the problem area press the - (Subtract) key to return to normal mode.

Currently this is the fastest known method of escaping the dreaded bounding errors instantly that doesn't involve a reload.

You can use Notepad++ to perfom this action on the file and then use an editor or other tools to rebuild the file after making the changes. The beta editor can be found here: social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/106/index/834703

UPDATED:

This can be done with a single keypress as follows:

Bindings=( Name="Add", Command="Ghost | OnRelease Walk")

Holding the key turns on noclip. Releasing the key turns it off.

If you'd like to read the thread these instructions come from, it can be found Here
