EA lost money, Bioware and their games didnt!
Far as I know DA:O was ahuge success critically and financially so there is no reason at all to try and stretch the dollar value of DA:O then it already is because other games not associated to DA:O or Bioware are failing! Make less brainless shooters and profitc will go back up!

Why does every sport franchise need a new game every season (never understood that mentality of developers).

Anyways, its not Bioware games that failing so the lossing money arguement is meaningless. Time for EA to cut the development studios that are losing money, not drive away customers from those ones that are still profitable.

Oh to the kid having a fit about being called a kid (thats were I stopped reading on that reply). Make up nonsense as your replies and ill assume your a kid. Use common sense and actualy business practices that work and I wont! Simple as that!

You get treated as you behave. Dont like it, change your behavior. Adults understand this and dont need to ask about it.

I was going to criticise your intelligence but on reflection it would be a mistake to confuse ignorance and stubbornness with stupidity. I will continue to believe that I'm a professional game developer and you can continue to believe I'm not. I'm sure that will make both of us happy.

The point, though, is this:-

It has been explained why DLC is more expensive (DPH) that the original game. If you're not interested in reading the explanation or discussing t, then needless to say a productive discussion is unlikely.

I'd say they don't buy it, since the truth is that a lot of what they think of as part of the cost of developing the game is actually not something that Bioware even handles; packaging and distribution isn't usually a developer concern, is it?

WOW! Just WOW!

Amazing how someone can be so wrong on every single topic she/he/it posts on and yet stick to their guns.

Lady, Man, dog, space hamster (no cancel that, space hamsters were cute and had a use), Child! Lets go with Child as we both know that fits, you have no idea what your speaking of, it obvious you havent moved on to grade 8 economics class so the concepts being used are just to far beyond your current understanding level!

It has been explained (big word for you) why DLC doesnt carry the costs associated to the original product so even in the most basic terms you should understand this. Guess some young dogs cant be taught new tricks.

And anyone else bored with "Im a game designer" and "im a yada yada yada" children always come up with in these arguements/debates. No one beleives you, no one (with any brains) will ever beleive you!

When your ready to speak like a adult and not make silly claims they is no way you can prove (or any I can disprove, or really care about), maybe ill be ready to talk to you like a adult. But you and I both know your a good 10 years away from that ever happening so how about you just stop with the false front and made up econonic guidelines of yours that a jr high teacher wouldnt give a passing grade to, much less a real business OF ANY TYPE.

Okay, I guess this has run its course. As there's really nothing new to the argument from either side, and we can't seem to refrain from personal attacks, it's end of the line.
