Adept for both games.

ME1: Garrus and Wrex for all plot planets except Noveria, where I felt bad for Liara and brought her along with Garrus. I occasionally took Ashley or Tali on exploration planets. And sorta forgot Kaidan existed. Oops.

ME2: Garrus + 1 other. Legion or Grunt, often.



Basically, Garrus has been glued to my hip since I heard his sexy turian voice in ME1. Crazy? Me? NEVAR.

Love both of their crusader mentalities.

ME2: Tali and whoever best fits the mission - Legion against mechs and Geth; Jack against organics; Krogan against Collectors; etc...

I use everyone really in equal measure. But when I really want to kick butt I use Miranda + Thane.

For the last mission i usually take Grunt and Jack though

I always switch around but since I never have overload myself I usally bring someone with me that have that power....that means Miranda, Garrus or perhaps Zaeed for disruptor bullets

Switched around alot on my first Renegade Shep, but on my second Paragon Shep it was mainly Miranda for her Warp and team abilities (+eyecandy ) and Garrus, because he's my pal.

I like to take someone with tech powers to fight the geth and someone with biotics to fight the rest. Outside of that simple strategy, the game isn't really hard enough to warrant min/maxing powers and whatnot.



The two powers I thought were most useful were Tali's/Legion's drone, and Jack's shockwave. The shockwave was hilarious for the fights with Collectors on those moving platforms. I'd just use adrenaline rush and shoot every collector once in the head with my assault rifle to crash their shields, then send in shockwave and hurl them all to their deaths. My record was 4

Grunt because he's tough as nails, so I can count on him not to die without worrying too much about putting him behind cover.

Miranda because she provides that team bonus to damage (Mmmm, damage), and because she brings both Warp and Overload. Playing through as a Soldier, having both in one package was extremely useful.

This was my main party as well on my second playthrough (as an adept). Took Tali/Legion to missions with many geth and mechs though.

I played a Sentinel on my first playthrough, and I'd almost always bring Jack with me. In part because I was romancing her, but that awesome Shockwave power was also a big factor. The second slot I left open for whomever was most efficient for that mission.
