Jade Empire was a truly fantastic game on the original Xbox, after some considerable feedback from the Bioware community Bioware Corp decided to make the PC version.

Lets give Bioware some thanks for Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 by asking them to kindly give us a PS3 Version of the game.

If we can show there is enough of a market for the game, EA/Bioware will listen.

So here's to you Bioware for 10 years of the very best Video Gaming - I raise my glass of Orange juice and slaute you!

I also sign this official petition to see the Mass Effect franchise on PS3...............

Come on guys lets show the need.

Best Regards

Nooo! We cannot let this travesty happen, all those smug PS3 owners going "Ha, me and the PC guiz don't have to change discs!"

It will make me cry.

I have the PC version, have you tried playing the game at 1920 x 1080p on a 50" Plasma?

LOL

Did you happen to notice the UPDATE on the bottom of that article?

Update: Matt Atwood at BioWare just contacted us to clarify his statements from earlier today regarding Mass Effect 2's exclusivity to Xbox 360 and PC. He says, "It [exclusivity] actually does exist for Mass Effect 2. And beyond that, we haven't announced any plans."

Don't give up hope for ME3 though... I'm actually very pro-multiplatform.

Buy the PC version.

There's an exclusivity contract, we need to stop pretending it can be circumvented.

I own a PS3 I love it.
I played the 1st ME on my computer about a year and a half ago. My computer is almost 5 years old so i was worried it wouldn't play ME2 very well.
It did. And since they are saying the game engine will be the same for ME3 I could care less if it comes out on the PS3
Just be happy w/Uncharted, Rachet & Clank and infamous dude.
and get yourself PC copy.

by now, you'd think most people who were that big of fans of gaming would own both a ps3 and a 360 (as well as a Wii).... either that or do what others said and get the PC version. If you prefer to use a controller or have it on your large screen hdtv without having to hook up your computer through it, etc.. just get a 360, they are very reasonably priced these days. Those are really your only two options.

I'm all for multi-platform gaming, but I also see how exclusives are good for business for every platform. The least to get a blockbuster hit exclusively are PC owners who don't have consoles. The Witcher, WoW (which I don't like much, too childish compared to Bioware rpgs), and Crysis are the only exclusives I found worth it. However, the controls for the Witcher were so poor and using xpadder or controlmk to use the 360 controller is just a hassle. Yes keyboard/mouse is easy to use.... it's just kind of... out-dated and it doesn't feel so great sitting there at a computer for hours in a row playing it. Hopefully, most kb/m setups will be available without third party hardware for consoles.... and all pc games will give you the option to use a 360 controller without third party software.... being it plugs right in. PS3 controller as well for those that prefer that. But until then, make the most out of what you have and if you want the Mass Effect games that bad.... get a 360 or buy it for your computer. It's worth it no matter which route you choose... better than missing out on it if you are a fan of video games.

Granted I've seen mass effect 2 for £199 with an xbox 360 elite. But I'd rather pay the £40 or so for a ps3 version that I know is going to look insane. PC's need to be at least £600+ to play ME2 in full HD at optimum settings.

I dont see the problem why they cant have it if the market is there I doubt EA would not want to exploit with get ME1and ME2 PS3 Pack for $70

To bad though console it wont be as superior as the PC version.

I have the PC version of the game and have seen the 360 version on my tv also.

the 360 is so so much smoother than the PC version.

And one major gripe I have...........(correct me if I'm wrong) is that I can't walk like a badass saviour of the galaxy through the citadel on PC version, I can only run around.

Slow motion walking is so much cooler!Image IPB
