I'm going to be doing Tali's recruitment mission as soon as I can, for the geth pulse rifle. I'm gonna run a dual sniper squad mates with the widow sniper I suppose, because apparently squad members with snipers are ridiculously accurate and have no restrictions on ammo. How hard do you think this'll be ?

Insanity with Soldier is easy. Very easy in fact.

Geth Pulse Rifle sucks for Soldier as it does little damage to health. Get Revenant, you will never look back. Also, only Legion and you can use Widow SR.

Imo Soldier is the easiest class to go through Insanity. Heightend AR, Widow and AP Ammo ...

Tbh, I never got to like the light machine gun, just not precise enough for my taste.

Revenant is no Vindicator when it comes to accuracy, but it is the best weapon in the game. By far.
80 rounds before you have to reload, great damage and decent accuracy. Add Adrenaline Rush when enemies basically stand still and you just go through them without any problems. With Widow and one shot - reload stuff, you will not do nearly as much damage. Not even close really.

If you have the Incisor Sniper Rifle (bonus from the Digital Collector's Edition) put Garrus, Zaeed, Thane or Legion in your squad equiped with this weapon... You can't believe how godly they became with the Incisor, although the incisor itself is crap for Shepard.

Soldier is very good for Insanity though it gets pretty dull. 90% of the time its:



1. Adr. Rush

2. Pop out of cover

3. Shoot some people

4. Repeat



Can get old pretty fast.

Geth Pulse Rifle + Widow is an amazing combination. Here's the one I use for insanity. Upgrades are listed in the order you should max them.





Hardened AR: 10

Tungsten Ammo: 10

Shock Trooper: 10

Heavy Concussive Shot: 10

Disruptor Ammo: 10

Incendiary Ammo: 1



Using Geth Pulse Rifle, Widow, Eviscerator, and the Predator pistol (when I use the pistol it's mostly to conserve ammo, so it's better to go with the one with more ammo).

Geth Pulse Rifle is garbage for a Soldier, and Warp Ammo is much better overall than Armor Piercing imo. Also, don't take the Widow, you'll thank me later.
