For me, Kelly and Tali are in the same position: both have a nice attitude(and the former doesn't want to wipe out a race of sentient beings, that's a start), but... I always stay indifferent.

Is Legion comic? Sure, like in the moment he reproduces the quarian yelling that geth are machines with no souls. 

Considering that I love the "syntetic life" stories such as Frankenstein or the more recent variant Blade Runner, that made me feel really sad for the geth.

"Upbeat" is the word that comes to mind when I think about her. Glad to see that something aboard the Normandy isn't "emo."



As for why people like her? As was pointed out, she nice, friendly, and puts out without any strings attached.



Still...she's open and likes "passion" (I read: Intimacy and Sex) wherever she finds it..kinda like asari...She's friendly and generally upbeat..like many asari maidens you meet in the game...has an asari stripper/dancer costume....like an....wait...OMG! The hair's a wig! The skin's pigmentation's been altered, like...that OTHER asari the Theron had! She's a spy!! Burn her!!

I like Kelly because she's cheerful and sweet. She cares a lot about those around her and she's a psychologist. Even just the fact that she's a psychologist is enough to turn me on;). Plus she's extremely attractive (yeah, suck it Miranda.), she feeds my fish and she dances. How can you not love her?

What freaks me out the most is that people call her a nymphomaniac just 'cause she makes remarks about your squadmates. Hell, if I'm walking in the street and I see a girl, does the fact that I think "Hey, that's a hot girl" make me a pervert? I don't think so.

I love Kelly as much as I can love a videogame character.

Plus, she doesn't say that she'd like to have sex with everyone. She simply says that as long as one is a nice, interesting person, sex and race do not matter to her.

About the hot squaddies thing, she says that Samara is beautiful and Thane is sexy. Which is slightly different from "Commander, your squadmates make me horny."

About the hold thing, she only says that about Garrus.

You need to break up with any current LI on Normandy II in order to get the email from Kelly.

That will be hard since I tried to romance Samara and she walked out on me.  I have no one to break-up with...  Liara's picture is still standing.

Yes, I find that this is the source of my hateyhatehate for Kelly.  She slips into the horrible cliche of being the greedy bisexual female.  Attracted to everything, hits on everything, wants to get into the PC's pants.  Then her line about bad boys, 'What a nasty stereotype!  It just so happens to be true in my case, but still.'  It irritated me to no end.  

I felt that she came across as a characiture of fangirls sometimes.

I, like some posters here, also find Kelly somewhat creepy - or maybe she's just that not that well-conceived/fleshed out. She presents herself as a "normal" person, but I'd have expected a bit more self-criticism/introspection on a psychiatrist's part. Being hand-picked by a massively rich and secretive shadowy/terrorist organization to keep tabs on the crew certainly implies she's quite different than the "normal-girl-next-door". Flirtation with her is mercifully as shallow as the end-game ass-wiggling she rewards Shepard with.
