For those who chose the Human Noble (M/F) Origin storyline, how do you think it will play-out/continue in Awakening? There are several possible ending, thus many different possible outcomes. How do you hope it continues; what would you like to see in the expansion as far as your character's story is concerned?

It would be nice to be able to visit Highever as a city. We only ever saw the castle. It would also be nice to interact with Fergus again. Maybe we could have a side quest to help him clear out the last remnants of Howe's army.

This.

Even though he was a very minor npc, I *really* was looking forward to meeting up with him again, first at Ostagar, and then, well... I was hoping somewhere else!

Anyway, I doubt they would create a full fledged party member that only one origin could use. Nice to have as a temp one though...

I would like for the Prince(ess)-Consort endings to be followed up on, or at least referenced specifically in the dialogue.

I don't know really. I never bothered with those kind of endings with my HN character. During the coronation I said "I don't know we'll see" and the epilogue said that I stayed in Denerim. Didn't even ask for a boon.

My char is still a noble for all I know and a hero, so I guess it isn't so bad.

I would love to visit Highever again and talk with Fergus. Liked him since the begining. He'd better have some ale and wenches waiting for me.

Except that in RtO they say she can't have children. And that's with Cailan, think about with a Grey Warden. The chances are like 2/100.

Just close his mouth when he says one of those "you'll see a sword up close really soon"... Those bring bad luck.

Zevran: "I cannot help but marvel at your potency, my friend. Five years of King Cailan in the Queen's bed and there was no sign of an heir. Six months with you and the servants are already furnishing the nursery. Are you sure you won't reconsider letting me have a taste?"

More like it's a medieval setting and if a woman cannot conceive it is her fault.

More like Anora was all business with him, so Cailan had his mistresses, and when Anora found out, she probably cut the poor guy off completely thus leaving him to continue with the mistresses. lol. Image IPB

Besides, ALISTAIR certainly believes that Anora can conceive, since he leaves the female PC so he can get an heir with her, RtO be damned.

I try not to defend Anora too much, but I can't help it when I see a character like EAMON's opinion presented as fact. Eamon is a f--ing schemer of the highest order, just like Anora.

I would love this so much, though I suspect he might be busy being the restore Teyrn of Highever.

Assuming I develop the intestinal fortitude to get to the married-to-Alistair ending, I would love to know how my queenie Warden goes adventuring without Alistair.  I sense an incoming guilt trip....  :)

Only if the PC chooses for them to get married. He never does that autonomously.

I would love some more Fergus. Even with everything that happens, he still remains awesome. Also, there must be a few keepsakes of your parents you can pilfer from Highever.

Maybe it won't? I hope it doesn't, unless every origin gets a continuation.

If human noble gets Fergus, dwarf noble should get Gorim.

My femWarden noble warrior is quite happy with Zevran, rebuilding the Grey Wardens. Alistair and Anora are doing the kingly/queenly stuff, and she really wouldn't like to

a) leave the love of her life

B) put hers and his life on the line a couple of hundred times (again)

I want the two of them left alone, and let her spent the rest of her years in relative happiness.

As for Anora being barren, prove it. There's nothing definite said or written anywhere that will factualize this. Cailan could be shooting blanks, and Eamon is a manipulator and schemer. Alistair is the above mentioned PC's very good friend, and she hated it how he treated Alistair in game.

Maybe it's just me, but I've always thought that this heir problem could be solved with a pinch of the "Sacred Ashes" (that is if you left it intact). If it was able to cure Eamon's disease, it could also be used to cure the warden's and/or Anora's inability to have children. That could be used as an idea for a new side quest... Perhaps everytime someone succeeds at taking a pinch of the ashes the gauntlet challenges are changed, because if it stood the same, the person that acquired the ashes could easily tell anyone how to succeed.

Isn't Highever out in Amarantine? If I remember right it is, so I could see Highever as being a possible destination.

Highever is along the same coast line as Amaranthine, but farther inland.  Amaranthine is closer to Denerim than Highever.  If you look at the expanded map of Thedas (I downloaded this as a desktop wallpaper) you'll see where they lie in relationship to each other. Go to the DA:O Home page ( http://dragonage.bioware.com/# ) and look at the wall paper of Thedas to get an idea of where everything is.

Or you can go to the Gllery page a print it out.

Have you met Alistair?  He's not the smartest guy.
