So I tried to download the toolset and it said I needed to register my game.

However I have done that within the game and logged on within the game.

In addition do I need to actually register it on the social site?  And that won't screw up my game as I've seen several other people have problems when registering on the site?

You need to have it registered on this website, but doing that is completely unrelated to anything else on your account.



The few people who managed to burn their cdkey were doing it in the "Redeem code" form which isn't actually possible anymore.

Ok, thanks. In the first couple days there were a lot of problems with people registering the game on the web site but when they launched the game and registered it in game they would get an error that the "CD Key was already in use" or "duplicate key". So I just wanted to make sure that since I have my game all running fine that by registering on the web site I won't encounter that error.

^if it runs fine for you my advice is to wait a few days more and make sure to back up your safe file before trying anything...

I still can't load my savegames when logged in and it wants points for half the content that I have registered with the keys on their own darn site.. ( last preorder/deluxe edition they'll ever get from me! )

It's really a mess, so for your own sake, if it actually works for you ( want to trade lifes?  ), give it a couple of weekdays before jeapodizing anything!
