There's a mission where you try to rescue a Cereberus operative. He's in fact already dead, and you can take some data with you. EDI tells you it would harm Cerberus but that decypherying it would take a year.



My guess : ME3 storyline will take a year or so after ME2. There is also another mission/dialog about something happening in a year from now in ME2, but I don't remember it.

Anyone try and think of the reason behind the human reaper? Sorry if this has been posted before but here's what I think on its reasoning. As it was still a larva form, it wasn't completed yet but was still being finished. And with the use of the human genome and organic memories, what Liara explained to Sheppard as what the father of a Asarian child gives to the child. I think its viably possible that the Reapers were trying to indoctrinate humanity by creating a Reaper that could be mistook as a religious entity or icon of humanity's major religion. I mean if you think about it, what would an entire race do if they seen a gigantic one of their floating in space after one of their worst moments, being the mass disappearances of humanity founded colonies.



Even if you listen to the Harbinger video that Internet Kraken linked to. The various species and indoctrinated benefits of each pretty much made it sound like Humanity was what they seen as the best overall species to use for conquest and eradication. That and it was a human that lead a crew that destroyed one of them already.



Also, anyone else think that the Illusive Man would of done the same mistake as the Protheans and try to recreate Reaper technology for the "protection" of humanity.

I too was really baffled by the big plan for the Reapers. Namely, a big Reaper Baby? With laser mouth? A giant Reaper to what? Would the collectors go out and scan for hours on end to find enough materials to make Giant Reaper Guy a big throne? If they had finished up the Reaper would he use the big poo log looking Collector ship as a surf board as he storms the Citadel?

I cannot find any videos on Thane were he talks about Drell and Hanar,
his flash backs, family or anything else. Everything I've come across
are just Thane love videos. If your a fan of Thane, instead of posting
another one of the thousand love videos for Thane already on YouTube, do

Ok, my own specualtion:

What if......what if.... The Kasumi's Stolen Memories ties into the expansion? I mean the big Alliance shattering secret would be just the thing that say a powerful information borker would want to her his/her/its/their hands on (Shadow Broker) or her delicate blue hands on (Liara). Basically it could really tie all of it together and provide a decent background for a mission that would have multiple options for your alignment as well as expand upon an interesting character as well as possibly explain why liara fell so hard.

Here's an idea, all the Character fan threads, should have their own forum.



You'd expect to come into this forum with people talking about the experience in mass effect 2, and not support for some character in number 3 or just being a fan of that character in general.

Mods I implore you, make a fan forum for these guys, rather upsetting seeing every new post in an uninteresting topic.
