I think he will help end the war between the Geth and Quarians and the Quarians will return to their homeworld and Tali will get her house and have Shep's baby. Wrex will unite the krogan. The Alliance should get backing from Cerburus so they can afford to believe what is happening. I think TIM and Shadowbroker are one and the same. Miranda could take over Cerburus and then everyone will be united for the big battle. Just speculation of course.

I agree with that. I have a feeling that they are going to go along the path that blizzard took with sargeras and the burning legion. Like 2 ancient races were at war, one created the ultimate weapon (first reaper). Reaper developed along the same lines as the geth and became sentient. Came to conclusion that all advanced organic life was a threat. Then it turned on its masters, indoctrinated them, and made them turn the populus into another reaper. Rinse and repeat every 50,000 years.

But i kind of hope its a little more than that!

Legion also tells you how the reapers are like the geth in a way. Many platforms, etc etc. I have the feeling that like the geth, not all of the reapers will share the same concensus. I get this funny feeling that one of the thousands of reapers will make contact with the council races and offer them some advanced technology to combat the reapers or something along those lines!

Im playing ME2 for the millonth time and when I talked to rubert about the Calamary dish he made...  He commented that  Asari are squid like, that got me to thinking. Since Reapers look like mechanical squids and Asari are commented to being squid like that could this be a clue that the Asari will play a big part in ME3 in the coming war against the reapers?
