Having the above error whenever I try to start a New Game, I assume it has to do with the toolset as it only started happening after I used it, not sure what I did to cause it. Any ideas on a problem solver?

I'm having the same problem right after getting the toolset.

I cannot start a new game (unable to load module) and while I can load existing games I cannot leave the current area.

I've found a workaround for the time being.

In your Documents/BioWare/Dragon Age folder, cut the "module" folder (it should be empty other than some other folders inside, no actual modules) and paste it somewhere else in case we need it later.

This fixed the issue for me.

I did what you suggested and the game is now unable to load. I can put the modules folder anywhere, correct?

Yes. You moved the empty folder in documents, not the one in your program files, yes?

edit: anywhere outside the bioware folder. I just made a seperate DAO folder to store extra material.

Yes. I tried uninstalling the toolset, re-installed the game, too. I'm going to try re-installing the toolset and moving modules. For some reason, my ' modules ' folder actually has files in it.

Leave your Program Files\\Dragon Age\\Modules\\Single Player folder alone. That is where your game is.

You probably did an export from the single player module the toolset. This would create some override files in your My Documents\\Bioware\\Dragon Age\\Modules\\ Single Player You can rename/remove the single player folder here, and the game should be fine.

What has likely happened is that you have done an export from the single player module in the toolset. This creates override files in My Documents, which take precedence over the ones in Program Files. If there is nothing there in My Documents, it goes back to looking in its regular place.

Renaming and moving, about the same thing. Either should have worked no? Ah hopefully there will be some sort of patch to work around this? I had made a morph to use, which works just fine without the singleplayer modules section, but if we make modules we want used?

Newly created modules should work just fine and appear in the "Other Campaigns" menu in game.

If you want to make a module that doesn't override stuff in Single Player, just make sure to name the module something other than Single Player and that should do it.

What if I do want to override something in the SP? Is it only that having the folder empty cause the problem, and if there is something there it will work?

Or are you just not supposed to edit/overwrite any of the standard modules?

Merely starting the toolset and looking around in the files won't cause any problem, right?

So, to double check, never do anything on single player?

I've accidently ****ed up the %Driver%\\Program Files\\Dragon Age\\Modules\\Single Player (Not the one in My Documents). The game is acting really strange, can this be solved?

I pulled out the single player and now I am getting the message "The module "campaign.cif" is missing"

I shouldn't be allowed to touch computers =\\
