Do wishes taste great fried, with potatoes on the side?
If so, I think our minds are going in a similar direction...
A ShadowRun fast food joint!

Can't you talk to people who can talk to people who can get the licensing agreement to make you lot make the game?
Please?

You work for BioWare, right?

Might be cheaper to license the Cyberpunk 2020 RPG. No mixture of a fantasy element, but I'd still go for it.
Does a Cyberpunk theme still "sell", though?
For a very long while, it seemed like post-nuke was very fringe... especially with so many gamers now who never grew up under the threat of USA/USSR mutually-assured destruction. Then again, Fallout 3 was so well received.

Thanks for the link. I have rather fond memories of the original and now have something else to look forward to.Seagloom wrote...

Umm... right. On topic, I would have to join the chorus of folks who would love a BW Shadowrun game. Preferably off-line.

Alas, I missed the original. :/ It came out long before I could afford a PC. I read about it somewhere though. PC Gamer probably. It looked interesting. Sort of like X-Com with gangsters in the future. I hope they don't mess with the formula for this remake.
On topic, and something I should have mentioned before... I could go for a Shadowrun game if it was well done. I've almost zero knowledge of it beyond what I saw in the SNES and fairly different Genesis version. What I did see was fun; although I never finished them. They both belonged to an acquaintance.

Umm... not to be rude, but you're a DEV! Can't you propose or something? Or do the high bosses kill their employees?
Let's see... game designers work for months, sometimes years to come up with a suitable GDD (game design document) that outlines the scope of the project, technical requirements, a business case, details on characters, stories, art direction, and pretty much everything you need to present to a developer.
I come in with "Hey, let's make a ShadowRun game!"

i think this would definitely be true, if you were trying to pitch a hello kitty game.
shadow run is a different story. its a relatively popular RPG, and that is kinda your (bioware's) forte.
and the situation you just described, is exactly how *another Development firm* landed the rights to make Fallout 3. or at least very similar too, as they described the events.

Naaaah; excuses!
After ME2 you have earned a lot of experience points, gained some levels and improved your "convince the big boss" skill; finished the loyalty missions of your coworkers and even ended up with a ton paragon/renegade points to convince them to do a suicide project and succed to the point where nobody is left behind.
If this is not enough, Mr. Gaider can support you with some really dark and unspeakeable magic to improve your chances.

I imagine something like "Stanley really needs to take a day off/get away from the forums for a while." is in the minds of most of the developers making the GDD.Stanley Woo wrote...

Wait. Does that mean that if you suggest any thing that we suggest on the forum, you'll...you'll....you'll....
