My first character's portrait and full body image have both vanished. Does anyone know how to fix this?

IF you have the PC edition of the game go to the "How to delete unwanted characters" sticky thread and follow the instructions there to delete all your online persona's. Once all the "extra" files are gone things will work smoothly again. Worked for me.
