I just finished the game last night and was very pleased with the ending. Unfortunately the plot is about the only thing I am happy with in this game. I have been very vocal about my disappointment with what Bioware/EA did to this game so I will try not to rehash all my complaints. Suffice it to say this game could of been so much more if it hadn't been changed to please the FPS crowd. Bioware pretty much destroyed the things that made the game fun to play in the first place by changing it from a RPG with FPS elements to an FPS with minor RPG elements. No true RPGer needs flags sticking out of galaxies to tell them where to go, we enjoy finding these things out for ourselves. And what is up with the romance scene at the end of the game? Since this game is rated M why was that dumbed down to something only a 7 yr old would enjoy watching?
All in all this game is a HUGE step backward from what it should of been. I played ME 7 times and that is the first time I have ever played a game that much. It is usually one and done for me. I will play ME2 through once more so I can see it from the renegade perspective but after that it will probably go into the storage box. It is nothing more than a generic shooter now and if I want to play one of those I can play Modern Warfare 2 or any of dozens of other FPS games out today. What a shame!
