I admit to not using Jacob very much. What is the advantage?

I also liked Jacob. He was definetly more interesting than Kaiden that's for sure. (Preparing to get flamed)
His Pull ability has gotten me out of quite a few situations early in the game, not to mention he's always there to greet new members of the crew.
Although I will say, after watching his romance scenes on Youtube, I can see why people don't like him. It just didn't seem to have any substance to it like Tali or Thane's.

he is a nice guy. but why people hate him is mostly for combat skill and unmatch weapons. he suppose to get assualt rifle rather than damn short gun. even I barely use that.

I always send him back to the Normandy with the rescued crew. Jacob may be a brick, but he gets the job done.cronshaw8 wrote...

One more to support this. Here's hoping Bioware expand on him like they did with Garrus in ME2. Jacob needs a better script and something to make him as "exotic" as the other characters. Hell, even Miranda was "genetically perfect", but poor ol' Jacob was just a "run of the mill" soldier.
>Edit<
Oh, and if Kasumi gets it on with Jacob in ME3.... I want a renegade option, of Shepard, to break them up!

Ha! Too bad nothing will proably come from that. I get the feeling that Jacob isn't even is aware that Kasumi is a member of Shepard's squad much less harbor any romantic feelings for her. Nope. It seems that Kasumi will either get over her crush for Jacob or will continue cloak into his room and spy on him.

He needs to do some lower body strength training instead of all the upper body training. His legs are so small it's funny.
