PS3 Sound Glitches on DTS set up.

I've been having buggy sound issues on my PS3 version. i have my PS3 to out out DTS with a Digital Optical Cable. I get a lag in the sound irradically and think the game cant runn on a DTS scheme. it pauses and causes breaks in the sound while moving around. just fought "Howe" and already dealing with it. Now i did just upgrade my PS3 HDD to a 500 Gig, but the sound i would think is installed and played via the Disk not the HDD. Any ideas or anyone having same issue?

Same issue with my PS3 and DAO. I'm using the original HDD (160gb). Latest firmware version. I'll try to disable DTS in PS3 setup to see if it helps.
