search "Dragon Age Origins: Awakening" on gamestop.com and add it to your cart. or reserve it in-store
If I add it to my cart on the site, do I pick it up at a store or is it mailed?

What's the German pre-order bonus, by the way?

Mailed. If you wanna pick it up in store then you need to go to the specific store you intend to pick it up at. Stores are unlikely to honor online reservations.
If you dont wanna wait on shipping or pay for it, I suggest you reserve in-store.

Nope, you can reserve it on the site and it will give you the option to choose a store to pick it up from (youll have to pay the store and not the website). Ive done it a few times now, though for Awakenings I just stopped by my store and reserved it there.

Thanks! My boyfriend is pre-ordering
it for me for V-day. Does that speak badly on me that I want to
pre-order a game on what is supposed to be a romantic day? lol
I think it speaks awesome...besides preorders only take a few minutes, and you got hours for the 2 of you to do lovey dovey things

Whats the point of pre-ordering it if you don't get any pre-order bonuses?
To ensure you can get it day of release even if the store runs out of the non reserve copies.

For me it allows me to spread the cost of the game over several paychecks instead of one $40+ transaction. Most places only require a $5 deposit but will let you pay as much as you want and come in later to pay a little more on the preorder up until the game comes out. So when I place a preorder I pay $10, then each paycheck I get Ill come back in and pay $10 or so more until its paid off. Then when the game comes out I just go pick it up. It still costs $60 or whatever, its just nicer for me to pay $10 at a time when its convenient than a huge $60 chuck all at once.

Well you save $5 off the pre-order purchase if you buy it upfront.LittleDiegito wrote...

The $5 goes towards the cost of the game, it's merely a down payment. You spend the same money in the end.
