search "Dragon Age Origins: Awakening" on gamestop.com and add it to your cart. or reserve it in-store

If I add it to my cart on the site, do I pick it up at a store or is it mailed?

Mailed.  If you wanna pick it up in store then you need to go to the specific store you intend to pick it up at.  Stores are unlikely to honor online reservations.

If you dont wanna wait on shipping or pay for it, I suggest you reserve in-store.

actually when it asks for your shipping address you can click "Add pick-up store" and have it ship to your local store for free, where you can pick it up on release day. just for future reference, since it seems this issue has already been taken care of

No. I enjoyed Dragon Age a lot, so I am going to buy the expansion.

You can still use the toolset to make mega items, should you feel empty? Like my special energy field bow which deals only 6000 damage... and it's fast... pretty much like dual wielding with triple haste.

I play on xbox, we didn't get the toolset.
I don't understand why Germany and Sweden are getting preorder bonuses while the rest of us get nothing though.

Has anyone heard if Gamestop is offering a way to pre-order Awakening? I usually pre-order games with Gamestop and I don't trust a lot of sites that you can pre-order from.

I don't think there's anything you can't reserve at Gamestop. But if you're asking if they're offering any exclusive in-game items, not that I know of.

I work at gamestop. We are taking pre-orders. You can order online or in-store. Online customers can specify which store they want to pick up the game from. If you're going to pick it up at the store, I recommend pre-ordering at the physical store itself.

I work at a Gamestop too :)

My condolences.

I worked at Gamestop for a few years circa 2002. I try not to think about it.Though I do have some funny stories from my time there.

Because the 5 dollars goes towards the purchase of the game?

The GameStop I work at got a couple of inflatable Dragon Age swords to use as display props when Awakening was announced. Naturally, a coworker and I used them for swordfights when no customers were around.

Amen! Physical Product! That said I hope there IS NOT a preorder bonus. That way I won't have to feel like I HAVE to preorder it and thus can wait for a sale. :)

Then again I have so many physical copies of games...I like the reduction of clutter digital copies gives me.And with a big fat 1tb drive its no longer a worry about dropping a 10-15 gig game on the drive and leaving it.
