Which one should I read first? Knowing I never played ME1, but am a long way through ME2, does that make a difference to your answer?

Revelations is the backstory to Mass Effect 1, and revolves around Captain Anderson and Saren. Ascension is introduction to Cerberus and the Quarian people, with stuff about the life of a biotic thrown in for a good measure. Judge yourself.

They were both great, but Revelation was my favorite. Also fun to get the backstory on Saren and Anderson. Ascension was good, too, and recommend...along with the comics...and the third book due out in July.
