I hope Velanna is romanceable. I do not understand why some posters want to deny other players the opportunity to romance a female elf.

The romance is Optional. Those posters who do not want a romanceable female elf can avoid this "horrid crime" by skipping the romance.

Velanna is very hot, but she would have been better as a redhead.

She's totally not an elf! For one thing, when she activates her bardsong, she's all like "RAAARRRAGGAGARA!" No elf could have such a primal rage shout.

Also, her boobs are bigger than that of any elf in the game.

There are no romances options available in Awakening. The story is focused more on the mission at hand and the new threat to Ferelden.
