I would like to go on record as saying I have no strong feelings either way on the existance of a female elven love interest. I know this is a highly controversial stand, but felt it necessary to have it known, regardless.

Also, you all complain and discuss this "cheating on romances" thing. I don't have to worry about that, thanks to mod-ability. I got blondes, brunettes AND redheads, and none of 'em care.
You lie.
The blonde does not like the shade you picked. It makes her look trampy.
She told me to tell you to pick something more buttery.

:Cut sarcasm with knife.
Being more serious... a lack of female elven romances does have a roleplaying implication: It's part of Thedas lore that an elf-human pairing results in human children. This means that elven characters who care about their heritage might consider it a betrayal of that heritage to make a commitment to a non-elven partner (even though Grey Warden elves are even less fertile, that doesn't mean total infertility), and so without having a female elven romance option, reproduction-minded male elves aren't really left with any options.
However, this could also be used to apply a twist to it - a female elven romance option might only be willing to romance elven males. Or, if bisexual, she might be willing to romance women of any race, but only elven men.

If you assume the systemic elven hegemony (allegorical or literal) in Bioware romances, it becomes very obdurate to refute this argument.
I can see this woman understands my position in full. It's wonderful when someone grasps the subtle complexities of your argument.

Yes. All the more tragic by how people misinterpreted her juxtaposition of symbolism and gestalt.
Everyone thought she was being categorical when she was being pre-hellenic. An unfortunate misunderstanding.

Yes. She wants female elves to romance. Lots of them. Dalish, Alienage, half-darkspawn, ever-loving female elves. She wants them hetero, ****** and bisexual and a few that prefer nugs. But mostly, she just wants her own female elf love slave. I hate to tell her this, but my PC is taken.Angel of Nessus wrote...

She will still be poor. She can tickle my fancy all day, but the noble chick will do that AND buy me fancy armor, swords, runestones, and silver chalices.
