I was wondering if someone can clue me in on why, for these new games, codes HAVE to be entered online? I have had nothing but problems. I see no reason why I have to go online to play a platform game. The instructions you get with the games and where to go to enter codes don't explain all the necessary steps, like frist creating, or in my case, rediscovering an ea account. I just want to be able to put in the game and play. i'm sure you'll say something like "for the integrity of the game" or "to limit faudulent codes" or some bs like that. I am not a tech savy individual and don't personally own a computer. I feel completely singled out when it comes to getting online to register game codes. what happened to the good old days when you just put in a game and played? the worst part is trying to find someone to help you, there's no phone numbers anymore and the support site has you list platform, game, and category for your problems. my issue is with the web, not specific game and what the hell category do i choose? i see nothing user friendly about this site or the process in which things have to be done to get what i paid for. if this is the direction the company, and indeed the industry is taking i will soon find myself excluded from the gaming community. i feel bad for the rest of the people like me who are being pushed farther and farther away from something they used to enjoy and take great pride and pleasure in. i feel like a 27 year old fossil.
the point of entering codes online for platforms
