I just started the game and got the part with Jacob and the robotic army and his claims of having some super power.  One thing I have noticed in ME is that there are trigger events that have to happen to move the story forward.  I sat there and shot at robots for two hours!  Is getting him to use his power what lets us move along in the game?  and if so HOW do you get him to do it.  Instruction book says to hitq and all it does and change his position.  How do u command Jacob to do his thing or at least tell me how tp get past this.

I doubt it was two hours. It was probably more like 120 minutes.



And uh, I dunno about the computer version but on the 360 version you just have to hold your ability-selecty-button-thingy and click on "Pull" and he casts it and you kill the other robot and you're done.

You need to be targeting an enemy for the quick order way to work. Just place the cross hairs on an enemy and hit "Q" or whatever button is used to issued for commands. Or simply use the manual method as stated above.

Or just hold shift, move your aimer onto the target, and click "pull"

under Jacob's skills.





Really, it took you 2 hours? Have you even played Mass Effect 1 before? Or even video games for that matter?

I'm surprised Jacob didn't automatically use his power in that amount of time.
