If that is indeed Tali's face, Shepard has exotic tastes indeed.

I am not sure how they will look but so far from their decription they are very close to human. We know they have elf like stats as well with the shorter height and smaller frames. I wouldnt want them to have elf ears for sure but I am thinking pale skin and glowing eyes with either short hair or no hair at all.
They don't need to glow. If they merely reflect light very well in lowlight (much like a number of Earth creatures do - though in such cases the reflection tends to look reddish) then it would be enough. The glow that you see through their visors could merely be light from their huds (I can't think of a reason why they wouldn't have one inside their suits) reflecting off of their eyes.

Thank you for your time.
(which is to say: For the love of god bioware, don't give in to the Tali freaks and make Quarians space elves, that's just one step on the road to a universe where 600 foot tall mechs made out of scrap metal face off against planet sized biological organisms, some random undead emperor thing can kill people galaxies awayby just thinking about them, and red space ships go fast because their pilots think it makes them go faster.)
the Asari already fill that role on ME. long life, abiltiy to use biotics, being able to **** anything and pop out more asari.
no space elves but rather something else.

Female Shepard is attracted to Garrus and Thane. I bet male Shepard would also be attracted to alien speces that we would consider to be ugly.

Well, Garrus I imagine is attractive in that sleek, badass kinda way.
Thane was literally DESIGNED by Bioware to be an "attractive alien".
Tentacles are...tentacles.
Though I certainly do not hope for "space elves" I also am not concerned that there will be tentacles. English would be rather difficult to speak with tentacles.

Tali's envirosuit is a bit too form fitting to be considered all that tough when compared to the armour Shepard and Garrus wear. Further, doesn't Grunt also list turians amoungst the soft races, "once you get them out of their armour"? I seem to remember something along those lines. If so, I don't see why it wouldn't apply to quarians. Also, most of the knowledge Grunt is basing his opinions off would likely have come from before the geth became self aware and the quarian exodus.Collider wrote...

If you talk to Grunt he specifically says that humans, asari, and salarians are 'soft'-- and that Quarians are not so much.
So she's not soft. Whatever that means.
True. I was under the same impression, but someone who responded to me said that it is also possible Grunt is only saying that because Quarians are basically only in their suits, and those suits would be good not to be easily damaged.
Obviously Grunt doesn't think the krogan are soft, so quarians need not have an exoskeleton--which is good, because exoskeletons are heavy--but merely extremely tough skin, or perhaps strategically placed bone plates.

I think the fans are the ones that need to be made aware of that line.KainrycKarr wrote...
Idiots should learn to tell the difference from a "tali fan" to a "tali freak".
Fan unity will make Bioware give everyone what they want.
Fans whining and making angry threads about each other will just lead Bioware to believe that we don't KNOW what we want, and they'll just crap that they think we MIGHT like.
Oh lawld.

No, you can rule out tentacles.NikeSBBruins wrote...
Yeah everyone let's not rule out the tentacles. lol seriously no joke.
First, you can tell through the helmet. Second, they actually talk about Quarian facial anatomy and say that they have lips and teeth. Third, if you use the flycam to clip through Tali's helmet in ME1, you can tell that her face is basically human in shape and form. There is, in fact, a model inside the helmet, it just isn't textured in any detail.

The line between "tali fan" and "tali freak". Some people are getting dangerously close too shooting the president to get her attention.KainrycKarr wrote...

If so, then yes. Fans should be aware.
If fans can't gain SOME unity, Bioware would likely cut their losses, and introduce ANOTHER whole new set of characters, and NOONE gets their favorite LI in ME3.
That's right. No Tali. No Liara. no Ashley. no nadda.
No more fan fighting. Fan unity will get ALL of us what we want.

I've seen a few people who seem to have an anime-freak like attraction, but I think people are grossly exaggerating the whole "obsession" thing.
Though the picture of the real life Tali doll somebody found on another forum left me feeling very disturbed, as did most people who saw it lol

Yea before I bothered to take a glance at any sort of internet forum about this game, I thought I was in some minority of people who liked Tali. My younger brother doesn't like her so much neither do a few of my friends. I thought it'd be the same online. "Hey I like Tali, stop hating". Instead I get here and I see all the weird fandom. I'm not in a hurry to get lumped in to the "Tali freak" category.
There is a difference.
