Okay I've edited this because upon reflection, it was tasteless and obnoxious. Apologies to anyone who found it offensive.

Somebody is going to get sued.  By games workshops.  I'll make sure of it.

Thank you for your time.

(which is to say: For the love of god bioware, don't give in to the Tali freaks and make Quarians space elves, that's just one step on the road to a universe where 600 foot tall mechs made out of scrap metal face off against planet sized biological organisms, some random undead emperor thing can kill people galaxies awayby just thinking about them, and red space ships go fast because their pilots think it makes them go faster.)

Agreed. For every single bit.

Yes, but have you noticed that 90% of tali fan art puts her as a night elf in a quarian suit...

Fanart has nothing to do with what will actually happen should they ever show a Quarian without the suit in game.

I personally think Tali fans are delusional, you do realize Quarians are something akin to Turians. The have a similar based biology and Grunt comments on how humans, asari, and salarians are squishy, but quarians and turians are not.

Which tells me she probably has some nasty armored skin like the Turians. I am so going to laugh if they are hideous.

It could also mean they have harder bones, but both views are merely supposition...

Glad to see there's still some people out there ill-wishing others. <_<

More than likely one of these is a base for Tali/quarians http://www.creativeu...-concepts1.html , and though I know many of you won't like it, I have a feeling it'll be close to the one in the second row, second from the right.

That one would make sense; my first guess was the one in bottom-right corner given Tali's model under the helmet seems to have quite sizable nose and the hair/fringes/whatever it is at the back of the head has some vague similarity to some of the geth.
I suspect your pick would cause more angst, thought Image IPB

Well, to be serious:

Most likely, Quarians seem to have bird-like - in some way - legs and arms (though it is not completely comprehendable with arms). It is likely that at least legs are "hardly-skinned" - maybe like turians.

Other body parts supposedly are soft-skinned: mammal glands, lips (see "Ascencion"), visible "not-hard" nose and... well, tight suits suggest these. Also, Mordin do not state anything about skin, contrary to the Garrus and Thane case.

However, face is supposedly not completely human-like, as glowing eyes suggest.

Still, use of hair-like "head-scarfes" as a distinction between females and males suggest having hair.

Sorry for possibly bad English.

A like all of them ... then on you picked has looking too much like  your stereotypical alien (The Greys) Thats what Salarians are for... I was thinking  either bottom right or the picture third over from the bottom right

Oh FFS, amino-acid type has NOTHING to do with what they look like. Every form of life on Earth we know about is Levo- amino based like us, and yet I don't assume a monkey will be "just like" an Armadillo.

Agreed. I actually think Grunt was talking about their body suits - after all, Quarians never (or more accurately, only on certain few points in their lives) leave their suits; and being in armour all day is likely to make people think of you as 'less soft'.

I prefer thinking of Tali as being lizard or cat-like. Maybe something like Sil from the movie Species.

I honestly think Quarians look very similar to humans because of that description in ME: Ascention. For starters, the one who was looking at the Quarian was a human member of cerberus, and as such he'd focus on non-human features. Aside from the lack of ears, very little is mentioned about non-human features, suggesting the Quarians looks very similar to our species.

Well I didn't think he was talking about their suits. But hey if people want to daydream about her being a near human super-model that's fine. I think it will be a sell out if they go with that, as most of their aliens are very distinctive and non-human looking. Asari already cover the near-human beauty niche.

What, the biped-oxygen breathing facially similar aliens? (hint - most of them)

The Elcor, Volus, Rachni, and Hanar are the only alien looking aliens their are in the Mass Effect universe.

Not that I'm complaining - its more alien looking aliens than in most of star trek, and humans can't empathize with non-human faces very well.

Yeah but the Turians and Krogans, and to less extent the Drell are less human-like that say Star Trek aliens. Which is good, I hate when all aliens look like humans.

It's going to be one extreme or the other with Tali.

I will not be surprise if Tali's face is something less than "pleasant."

Something to put the Talimancers in an awkward position of "loving her no matter what."

Let me tell you, RAGE will be had, perhaps the worst ever to grace the BW forums.

Please let this be so, if Bioware has any balls they will do this.
