Alright, I'm not sure what's going on, but I'm having a hard time getting my character to transfer from ME1 to ME2.

Here's the rundown:

I created a new character, an Adept by the name of Sotaka Shepard. I ran him through on a pure Paragon path, spurning Ashley Williams and flirting with Liara T'Soni. Just before our mission on Ilos, I created a single save file. On the first run, I slept with Liara. I went through and beat THAT character through ME2, as well, and am satisfied with that one.

However, here is where the issue comes into play:

I went back and loaded the same load from earlier up - the one before Ilos. This time, I downright refused Liara - assuming it meant that I would end the relationship, as well. However, at the very end, it seems to refuse to save my data for import over to ME2. I am at a bit of a roadblock, as I don't really know what to do in this case.

Any help would be deeply appreciated.

Make sure your picking the right file for import into ME2.

I had a renegade save that I reloaded a couple times at the last moment to see the difference between having Anderson and Udina take over, and making it a human lead or human only council. I have like 3 different import save options in ME2, you might just be picking the wrong one.

No, that's not the problem. It's showing all my completed saves (John Shepard - my personal playthrough. Jane Shepard - Renegade Female Pure. Sotaka Shepard - the original save I made to get all flirty with Liara and run a Pure Paragon)

I know I've completed the game on that save today, but it refuses to display it. It only shows the ORIGINAL completed save - that is, the one from 2-2-10.

Still no luck. I'm running out of ideas - is there a way to clear the Import data so that I can just re-do the last mission in ME1 and have a fresh save? Why is it not overwriting?

If I go into the hard drive and delete the "A" file instead of the numbered file for Sotaka, will it re-write the save when I beat the game again?
