Looking for help from some of the audiophiles who could recommend some great speakers and a great sound card. I'd like some surround sound and wdon't wanna spend a rediculous amount. Any help would be appreciated.

How much are you planning to spend?
Because in terms of speakers, my personal faves are KEF while in amplifiers, I´d go for Denon. Other brands such as Infinity for speakers are equally good and in amplifiers, Harman-Kardon is also a win choice.
Since I was poor when I got the speakers, I went to the most basic KEF series. If I were getting it now, I´d save a bit and go for the Q-series.
The amplifier should be suited to the spekers. Considering that the speakers I use are arround 125 Wat maximum (at 8 Ω), the amplifier pushes a maximum of 65; so more than enough to safely use them.
