I liked Zaeed, but my only problem with him is that he is completely lacking in character development.

I think its his lack of a dialogue tree that makes him pretty cool. I mean really, did you hear most of tose stories? Hes got plenty of dialogue and voice acting. And every other mercenary in bioware games, all you ever do is ask them war stories anyways.

I miss Zaeed. Finished an Adept play through and I was itching for something different, so I went with Thane/Samara for the entire 2nd Act. They're great and all, but a little to pansy when it comes to their dialogue.



On a side note, Rage is a helluva anesthetic.

Infiltrator Shepard + Zaeed with a Sniper Rifle + another Sniper = doom. Even on very high difficulties, this combination is .. unfair. His Inferno Grenade is pretty good for melting armor (I swear that thing does a lot more damage than is listed), and the area of effect Impact Shot is damned nice. Him and Garrus with double impact shots and sniper rifles are .. awesome.

If Zaeed was left on the Normandy when the collectors attacked he would have taken them all on. Perhaps Jessie would have started working again?

The all sniper team is full of destruction.  On the suicide mission i had Zaeed and Thane with me, and we were pounding through the Collectors real fast.  I think on my next Infiltrator team I'm going to try Garrus though, just to help add that versatility against Shields.  Although Thanes warp comes in real handy during the suicide run.   

I find myself gravitating towards Zaeed so much that I am trying to force myself to use different squads.  Everytime a mission starts I instantly scroll my mouse over to him because I know he will be useful to me.  I know the best tactic is to cater your squad to the mission, but since I find Zaeed to be a well balanced character, I can use him in any situation, thus, I want to use him in every instance.  Zaeed is just too good to be true.

Yeah my favorite squad is Zaeed and Miranda. But I don't have Legion yet  and I am Vanguard so Miranda is great for dropping shields. Sometimes I switch out Miranda with Garrus, but lately Garrus has been an idiot and not using his cover. So he is sidelined currently.

^^^ Yea Zaeed N Miranda has been my comp for my Adept. Love it when he hits someone with conc shot. Just hearn him yell "Sit Down" cracks me up everytime.

I read someone say in another thread about how Zaeed is a ******-poor sniper (Paraphrasing), and I took their word for it, mostly because I run Zaeed through with the Vindicator. However I just ran through Mordin's recruit quest on H/C (ME2 Import) and he was doing a fantastic job of landing hits with the Viper.
I do wonder though, who really is the best sniper - Thane, Garrus or Zaeed. Does each squadmate have base stats for their respective weapon type, or are they all equally effective with each weapon they get.

Um, just so you know Legion is no good at dropping shields. He doesn't get Overload. If you want a better chance against shielded enemies, stick with Garrus and have at least one of your team use an Incisor.

He also says a couple bad ass things during Jacob's loyalty mission. One along the lines of "He should expect a knife in his back for doing this to his own crew" or something like that, can't recal exactly.

If Zaeed was left on the Normandy, not only would he have destoryed the Collectors on the ship but he would have piloted the Normandy into the Omega 4 Relay, single handedly destroyed the Human Reaper (by ripping it apart with his bare hands), and then driving the Normandy back into the known Galaxy without Shepard even finishing whatever mission he was on.

Just wait until the Reaper fleet comes.

What I'm saying is that I don't pay attention to the shields, because I have so much damage flying around, they drop really fast anyways.

Also, don't have the incisor. I have a physical copy of the collector's edition.

Just did Jacks recruitment mission and I know exactly what your saying.  Had Garrus/Zaeed and we were taking everyone down without a fuss.  The only enemy I'm having a challenge killing are the YMRC Mechs, but thats to be expected. 
Overload then Inferno Grenade = Win

Another reason to love Zaeed: you can get his loyalty mission the moment you recruit him.
