I think Zaeed in way to underrated, mostly because he lacks the full dialogue option and a recrutment mission like the rest of the team. Aside from the no recrutment mission, he has more lines than Garrus, if you are playing maleShep. He's always full of story's from the past and also comments on your past missions. If you take him on missions, he comments and expresses his views and opinions just like any other character.

Personaly, I like the dude. He comes in handy when the fight starts with his high damage weapon output and instant inferno grenade (good crowd control+armor/health damage skill) and as said before, he has a lot to say on missions. Turns out he isn't just another ruthless thug, but a smart and well experienced merc veteran.

To all you haters out there, just take Zaeed on missions with you and give him a chance. He kinda grows on you.

Sounds more like Jack to me. Zaeed IS tough, he isn't TRYING to be tough, whereas Jack is the reverse. IMO.

If he returns in ME3, in any way, you know what I would really like to see? (being as realistic as possible, of course). A line or two of flirting with Shepard.

Seriously, would it be so out of place!? A humorous line or something! Considering how femShep acts in Jacob's romance, would it be so out of place to have her compliment Zaeed? Even in a "are you joking or are you serious" way? Think about what they wrote for Samara, in the end. I think that was a intelligent move on their part. Having even one line like that with Zaeed would be easy to write, and AWESOME for his fans.

Just sayin'. Hey, Zaeed's creators and writers have the right to know how much we love their character.

I don't think it would be out of place at all. In fact, it would be pretty frickin cool.

You don't get a dialogue wheel with him outside of his mission. We aren't sure why. Guesses are development issues..

My theory is that it pissed him off and he shot it to death.

My theory is he saw it on the table while settling in on the Normandy, didn't understand the point behind it, shoved it into the trash compactor and hit "Eject". Then carefully put Jessie on the table.

Why do you think Zaeed still has the blue sun insignia on his neck? I would've thought he'd had it removed by now, or Vido or would've carved it off.

Zaeed's got some HUGE arms hehe. Also, the way he uses his inferno grenade leads me to believe that Zaeed is a superhero.

Because he still has Good memories there, of Good soldiers and loyal friends.
Men who're probably Dead for not siding with Vido now.

It bugs me that so people say Zaeed is a poorly written or flat character because he's really not. Infact he's much more interesting and way better written than alot of the characters you get.



Sure because he is DLC bioware went the lazy route and didn't give him a dialouge wheel which SUCKS. But if you listen to all of his stories and read up ont he blue suns in the codec and play through his loyalty mission on both paragon and renegade you learn alot about him.



Also since I took him everywhere I learned he has alot to say on most missions, where you also learn he isn't some heartless SOB. I also believe after getting Zaeed loyal, after everything you go through by the end Zaeed wouldn't just ditch. The Team you have is basically what Zaeed wnated of the blue suns but Vido corrupted it.



Also, I think his loyalty mission is the best and most fun of them all.
