I'm happy to see this thread is still kicking, even if I am not.

I still can't stop using Zaeed, even when I attempt to play with other people I just cant. He is just too damn good at what he does - kill everything.

ME3 will be an instant disappointment without Zaeed in it.

Realistically, do you think Zaeed could be as squad member in ME3? Maybe he's a DLC but many people also got him and the Cerberus Network with the game.

Anyway, I'm holding my breath for my favorite bad-ass merc. I'd happily marry Bioware if they brought back both Zaeed and Garrus.

Quick question, is it just me, or does a experienced Human Grey Warden sound almost exactly like him?

I believe it's him.

And the awakenings narrator, and the seneschal, and Lord Harrowmont.

The two DLC characters are the best ME 2 chars, hands down. My first playthrough (paragon) was Team DLC, Z and K all the way. My fourth playthrough (renegade) will be all them again. Except where loyalty missions make it impossible, of course.

Good evening, Zaeed thread. Zaeed is a total badass. That is all.

It'd be pretty sweet for him to make a cameo in ME3, at least. Maybe he'll start up a new merc organization, either a relatively chivalrous protects-frontier colonies kind of group if you went paragon in his loyalty mission, or a rapacious band of murderers that make Blood Pack look like pansies if you went Renegade. He might also be hanging out with Jack as well; he seems to be one of the few crew members that likes/appreciates her.

Also I'm so upset that Zaeed isn't a valid squad leader for the suicide mission. He totally should have been.

I'm with you.  If he managed to found an entire mercenary organization, he shouldn't have had any trouble telling a small squad where to go and what to do.  Maybe he simply wasn't allowed to be a valid choice because his DLC was added in after the fact?

Kasumi can go through the vents.  Also, while we're at it, Jacob should have been able to do the biotic barrier.  I know he's not as powerful as Samara or Jack, but his loyalty power *is* Barrier.  It would have been a nice badass moment for him too, considering that nobody would have expected it.

Back to Zaeed, I think a non-loyal Zaeed should definitely fail at leading a fireteam; for years he's been a loose cannon, killing his way across the galaxy without too much forethought.  After the refinery mission, he either comes to a new understanding of his place as a member of a team (Paragon) or gets his mojo back (Renegade).  I'd imagine a Zaeed who went through his loyalty mission the Paragon way would actually spend time keeping his squaddies alive, drawing on a lifetime of experience with life-or-death situations, actually thinking things through in ways he never had before.  Renegade Zaeed.... would probably take point, despite ostensibly being in charge of the team, and just kill everything so fast, tossing inferno grenades the Collectors' way every few seconds, that the enemy wouldn't have time to kill any of his squaddies.

Good evening, Zaeed Massani thread,

Zaeed and Garrus are one of my topnotch teams. The two of them together get the job done, whatever it may be. His dialogue on missions involving the Blue Suns is also excellent. Relevant character-specific dialogue and all of this without an interactive dialogue wheel, first rate!

It doesn't hurt that they can both use the Incisor, either.

Terraneaux, I do love that rifle. I have a love affair with it that makes me frustrated and angry when I can't use it with my biotics.

As I was drinking my coffee this morning trying to come up with something to ask people... it hit me. I should ask them about whether their favorite character drank tea or coffee in the morning. So what does Zaeed drink in the morning... coffee or tea? How does he take it and why?

Zaeed has tea every morning while listening the the BBC Galacitc report, and humming God Save the Queen.

Zaeed's a West Ham fan, I'm sure.
